Hope Acts

Immigrant Legal Aid Project

“Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project helps low-income immigrants in Maine improve their legal status and works for more just and humane laws and policies affecting immigrants. Our commitment to social justice underpins our commitment to action. We believe all people, regardless of legal status or country of origin, deserve the opportunity to improve their circumstances. Maine Equal Justice

“Maine Equal Justice is a nonprofit civil legal aid and economic justice organization working to increase economic security, opportunity, and equity for people in Maine. Mainers for Humane Immigration

“Mainers for Humane Immigration is an all-volunteer organization that assists Mainers who have been impacted by immigration enforcement and detention. The core of our work is detention support for people who have been taken by ICE. We also provide family aid when funds allow. We exist to respond to the harms of immigration enforcement and to support community-based responses grounded in care, shared responsibility, and sustained commitment. League of Women Voters of Maine
