Weekly Indivisible Rallies
We're part of working to make the over 3,000 NO KINGS Rallies nationwide be the biggest demonstration in the history of our country, and turnout 12 MILLION people! Below are the two closest rallies to us, but even if you are travelling, there is bound to be a NO KINGS Rally near you! Find a rally where you travel here. All rallies are peaceful and joyous. Carpool & BYO signs if possible. The best signs invite people to change their minds, not just express anger.

Indivisible South Portland NO KINGS Rally
The closest and easiest access rally in our area, especially for people with walkers or wheelchairs. Icy walkways can be a problem, so check with us beforehand. The rally will be Saturday, March 28, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, at Erskine Park, Broadway & Waterman in South Portland, at the traffic light nearest the Casco Bay Bridge, Saturdays from 11:00 am to noon. Park free near Dunkin' Donuts or Starbucks or in shopping center behind. RSVP here. (Note: the RSVP site and several others say time is 10:00 to Noon. That is INCORRECT. The time is 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.)
Indivisible Greater Portland NO KINGS Rally
This will be the largest rally in our area. Their NO KINGS Rally will be Saturday, March 28, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, at Monument Square, Congress Street at Preble Street in Portland. Parking can be a challenge and is expensive! RSVP here.

Knowing Your Rights and Staying Safe

In this heightened time of surveillance and unlawful enforcement actions, it is important to be aware your rights to ensure safe participation in events. Your digital privacy is also a factor to be aware of. Indivisible National and ACLU Maine have valuable information to share with us in the links below. Weekly Multi-Faith Vigils
The Greater Portland Interfaith Organizing Group holds multi-faith vigils on Wednesdays from 2:45 to 3:15 pm at Congress Square Park, at the intersection of High & Congress Streets in Portland. Each vigil is a clergy-led, prayerful gathering of solidarity and support for our immigrant neighbors, ICE detainees and all impacted by and involved in this broken system and situation. Signs are provided, or you can bring your own affirming these ideas. More information here.
